Window Images Series (1975-79)

The “Window Images” Series of seven paintings were nearly all destroyed by Wood who found them to be unsuccessful attempts to further explore some of the themes developed in the “Windows” series from outside the double-sash compositional framework. We are able to offer only one of these paintings and four studies for sale here.

NOTE: Because Wood used an extraordinary number of colors in complex combinations in his paintings, his art is notoriously difficult to photograph and reproduce.
